[texbirds] Tuesday morning bird census, Hagerman NWR

With the wind howling all morning we did not see a Warbler specie.  But we 
finished the day with 76 species.  We watched a singing Summer Tanager and a 
singing Red-eyed Vireo with all of our group getting great views.  We had a 
flyby Peregrine Falcon and a Bald Eagle.  Most of our views of shorebirds were 
distant as they were very nervous.  We did see one group of 20 Semi-palmate 
Plovers. We saw two White-faced Ibis in MSU #10 and 3 Black-necked Stilts in 
Steedman Marsh.  Hopefully next week we will pick up some Warbler Species and 
then it should be time for Bobolinks.
