A "professional" what????
Never mind.;-)
I know a few that knew their rights, but are still serving time.
To end my input...there was lots of advice, but the best was.....

CASH....CASH...CASH.

wow, this was a subject with opinions.
lol
i thank you all, so much for responding.
it was a stop payment check.
i had already cashed and my bank charged me back pluss the fee.

A few of my thoughts follow!
this man is a professional, and i wont be able to bluff him, I
am sure he has done this many times before. he knows his
rights better than my lawyer.
I have pity on in-sufficient funds checks, and seldom go after
them.
you cant get blood from a turnip.
and I am usually an easy going man, but this guys attitude
was more than i could take.
basically telling me, i cant do anything about it.
the police wont touch it, they figure it is a business expense.
another time small claims was a laugh, i won, he didnt even
appear, but i still have to collect the money anyway on my own.
collection agency was worthless before, they only sent a
request letter to him, and then told me they couldnt help me.
and i understand the, not worth the frustration thing.
and my conscious is very clear, the set works and he wont let
me even see its problem, if any, to repair it.
he knows he screwed me and i guess i may just have to except it.
demanding cash would loose other good customers, and induce
fear of my shop to honest, would be customers.
But thank you all, for helping me think this through.
Larry

and hoping his conscious bothers him , is a laugh.
