I always question why someone dislikes a particular artist's body of work; I always ask the specific reasons why. Bill, you made a general statement without backing it up with reasons. What is it that you dislike in Picasso's work? Inchoate answers don't cut it with me. I think that's childish. If you're going to go public on the Net with an opinion, have the respect for your readers to inform them. Otherwise, you have no credibility and wasting others time. Have we decided that the "author" is the ultimate judge of "good"? For my money, the author/artist is simply the judge of what they like. Other than the artificially inflated value, I wouldn't have a Picasso in my house - at least not where it could be seen. More heresy? Or simply a member of the unwashed masses speaking? I don't really care; no amount of praise is going to make me like Picasso. Did he like his paintings? Don't know, don't care. -Bill On Friday, December 15, 2006, at 05:27 PM, Tim Rudman wrote: > I wouldn't disagree with anything you said here Mark, but when you say > > "All > good images.
