When in instantaneous (pin in) you put your finger over the hole in the bulb, squeeze it sharply to trip the shutter and then let it suck the piston back up, all with the hole closed. The opening is there mostly for time exposures. To close the shutter from a T exposure where you have let go of the bulb squeeze it with the hole open, then cover it with your thumb or finger and suck the shutter closed again. Work the piston with your fingers to check the operation of the shutter. DO NOT lubricate the piston. --- Richard Knoppow Los Angeles, CA, USA dickburk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx ============================================================================================================= To unsubscribe from this list, go to www.freelists.org and logon to your account (the same e-mail address and password you set-up when you subscribed,) and unsubscribe from there.
