        Okay I'm confused. It seems to work okay if I leave my thumb off the 
hole. Is 
that the right way then?

        The piston doesn't seem to return all the way some times. Do they need 
some 
sort of lube? It's okay most of the time in instant mode but with the bulb 
mode some times it hangs up partially open.
