The older books indicate this is a function of the sufite concentration but Ryuji Suzuki has put a doubt in my mind about whether this is the true explanation. Full strength Microdol-X yields finer grain than most other developers but looses nearly a stop of speed. When diluted 1:3 the grain is no finer than D-76 but it does have a good acutance effect for those who desire it. --- Richard Knoppow Los Angeles, CA, USA dickburk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx ============================================================================================================= To unsubscribe from this list, go to www.freelists.org and logon to your account (the same e-mail address and password you set-up when you subscribed,) and unsubscribe from there.
