Will using cheap ink break your printer? No. Could it? Yes. It's
like smoking... might catch up with you, might not. Ok... maybe
not the best comparison, but you know what I mean.

Hmmmmmm -- well I am going to toss something else out at you.
Depends on what you use your printer for. I don't print photos
using my printer -- simple b/w pages.

Also dot matrix printers are less expensive and some at
throw-away prices. Meaning you can buy the printer for less
than what it would cost you to buy 2 additional cartridges of
branded ink.

I also have a HP printer and I asked the specialist in the next
town who sells refurbished black ink cartridges and he said the
branded ones have less ink in them than what he puts in. I can
attest to that fact because I got twice the number of copies
from his generic cartridges than HP's cartridges.

I don't think the places like Tori mentioned would continue to
stay in business or the one I originally used online if they
didn't sell good ink in their generic or reused cartridges.

But we all have opinions -- my HP has been going strong for 7
years with the **cheaper** ink in it for the last 4 years.

And yes I smoke also (LOL)
