The last 6 months my eyes have been stinging at night just before bedtime,
its as if I had been peeling onions. The only thing that eases it is
splashing cold water in. I thought it was just old age.

Eric, the product I use is called "Refresh Tears", but I am sure there are
similar products available in Old Blighty. You need to use something in there
to keep your cornea from being damaged. Better yet, see your eye doc. Oh, you
are correct, it is old age creeping up on you, but yours seem worse than mine.
Mine just feel as if there is something in them from time to time and the
pseudo tears clear it right up.
