Andreas: We saw how Muslims reacted over a few
Danish cartoons. How would Muslims react to a
nuclear attack on an Islamic country? Every
Western embassy would be burnt to the ground in
every Muslim country.
Eric: Attacking the large Iranian facilities would
not require nuclear weapons.
(We would only use low-yield nuclear bunker
busters against an underground shielded facility
that was vital in some way. For example, Kim Jong
Il's hideout after he had attacked someone. These
aren't even "real" nuclear weapons by nuclear-war
standards, and certainly wouldn't be used in Iran.)
So I don't think any of these publicized "plans"
--which are made public as just another bargaining
chip--involve any type of nuclear weaponry use on
our part.
