We saw how Muslims reacted over a few Danish cartoons. How would Muslims react to a nuclear
attack on an Islamic country? Every Western embassy would be burnt to the ground in every
Muslim country.
But there's a greater threat. Iran and Iraq will easily retaliate by shutting off oil. Saudi
Arabia would probably shut off oil as well, or risk an Islamic revoution in their country.
With the USA in a corner, other countries would likely join in to get further concessions
from the USA. The Russians, Venezuela, and Nigeria could also shut off the oil.
The result? Oil prices at $200-400/barrel; gasoline prices at $25-50 per gallon (or about
$600 to fill up your gas tank), and fuel rationing. This wouldn't last just for a week; it'd
be a year or more at those prices. With so much money going into energy instead of other
investments, this would throw the global economy into a very deep recession. It'd take 15-25
years to recover.
Go ahead, Lawrence. You want to defend the USA so much, just go ahead. You'll destroy it.
And doubtless, you'll blame the Marxists when it all blows up in your face.
