This last paragraph applies to me too, so please be understanding if my witterings are irrelevant. I very rarely got the pyjamas after I upgraded to 5.11, but I've now had it twice in five start-ups. Could it be relevant that I've recently turned on lazy task swapping (1) using Paul V's Misc Setup? Presumably not, as I imagine this won't have kicked in by that stage of the boot-up? (1) <new thread?> I more or less understand what lazy task swapping does, but am I likely to notice a difference in every-day work? Perhaps big OPro files load a bit faster, but I haven't noticed any good (or bad) effects yet. With best wishes, Peter. -- Peter \ / \ Prestbury, Cheltenham, Glos.
