Just for the record of my last 67 'start-ups' from 'cold' (RISC OS 5.11)
On the first try -
16.4 % were just a blank screen
19.4 % were pyjama stripes
64.2 % were ok
On the second try -
3.0 % were pyjama stripes
32.8 % (19.4+16.4-3.0) were ok
On the third try -
the outstanding 3.0 % were ok

It's an annoying feature of the Iyonix and I hope it's solved soon.
