Please tell us if the update doesn't cure it. That won't necessarily cure the problem. In my case, I had been using an Iyonix for nearly a year without ever seeing pyjamas, but it suddenly occurred shortly after installing RO 5.11 (though now I don't think this was the reason), and the effect occurred on startup about 1 time in every 5-6. However, more recently the problem has become very infrequent, although I have not changed anything in the computer. I got pyjamas once this week, but only after about 30 trouble-free startups. So (especially for the OP, Peter Derwent), don't despair, with luck the effect may go away just as spontaneously as it appeared. :-) Has anyone else had a similar experience? I'll leave it to others to explain why it happens - it's been explained previously, but I can't remember the details. Nat -- Dr. N.M. Queen | Phone: +44 121 414 6590.
