You are not required to decipher Tamil. Am sorry if that got implied in my
mail (or any one elses mail) . You can simply trash that mail. Yes, you
could've offered useful insights if only the post was in english but the OP
was not proficient in english so she/he had to make do with the next best
option.

Yes. But denying non-english speakers the option to ask their questions in a
language of their choice effectively denies them any insight that _anyone_
might have been able to provide!!
The problem with having separate mailing lists is that the native
language lists will see poor patronage by the 'problem solvers'.
The point I am trying to get across is that the 'problem
solvers' might not have a grasp of Tamil.
And my point is problem solvers who do have a grasp of Tamil (or Hindi,
Telugu..) can answer those queries they can decipher (and ignore those they
cannot decipher)
Of course it could be argued that the list will soon be filled with posts in
a wide range of languages but lets give it time and see if thats how it
really folds out!
