That and it only "drops down" in the spatial sense if there is
room...if the control summoning the menu is at or near the bottom of
the screen, the menu will open upwards instead since that's where the
available space to open the menu is. As such I'd be for sticking to
the popup name as well since drop down doesn't accurately describe
either its behavior or its control name.
