Servicing most brands, I get referrals from the manufacturers web sites, i get many phone calls, some times too many to leave time to repair tvs. but 90% of the calls are griping about quality, asking how to program, or how to hook up DVD, or how to fix it them self, etc. or do i sell wall mounts, or will i drive 60 mile on a service call, or do i give free estimates, on sets they find sitting on the curb. lol they want to cry to some one, and im the only live person, i guess i need a recording and music like the factory. lol Also i get so frustrated , listening to someone try to explainer just what their set is doing wrong, and how it acted 6 months ago. so after about 5 minutes i interrupt and explain, its like telling me your car wont start. i have no idea what it is, with out checking it. bring it in with 45 bucks and i will give you an estimate, if it isnt worth 45 to you, please dont bother bring it in. and lucky 90% of the calls with actual tv problems do come in. the trick is to be polite when you are sick up to here, listening to this all day long.
