Hi Linda.....I guess I should answer this for all in case anyone else has the
same thoughts.
The fact is, you just can't police people nor do we want to become a
Kennel Nazis. We have to assume that when someone signs the code, they have a
sincere and honest desire to be guardians of the Breed. Yes, we realize that
many use the BC and PC affiliation for their own advertising purposes and still
continue to be crooks or worse.....that is the very reason that the BC is being
revised.
Fewer people will probably want to sign the new code because it is
stricter and will have penalties for violations....BUT....those who DO sign
will be
among the elite group who have their kennel listed as referrals on the PC
website.
We can't invade anyone's privacy or stand as kennel police, but
hopefully, we can weed out a few of the most unscrupulous breeders.
We will let everyone know when the new BC is complete and ready for you
to sign. Thanks for your interest and concern.
