Or test it with an AVM preferably electronic. When the fully charged light blink, the sync plug present the voltage to the sync contacts inside the RF645. Using the AVM, measure this voltage and check if it is within the limits given by Bronica. I've had a Nikon FE2 fried by an old electronic flash from Hong Kong which is still running fime.... grrrr The FE2 died completelly, so better safe than sorry !
