I remember back in the day when I was working in Softimage, there were 
sometimes issues with textures etc. I think we had to freeze the projections, 
transformations...It's been a long time so I don't know how relevant that is 
now.

It is specifically the texture.  It is running in the wrong direction giving 
the look of the sides not the look it has in 3ds.  Ill take screenshots and 
send to show you what I mean.  Otherwise yeah I group the objects because MS 
seems to reorganize the parts if I dont :D  But I need some tips on the 
textures.  Someone mentioned its best to just do them in MS?
