I use 3ds Max. I have Maya as well but I use 3ds Max for now. Just trying to master it before moving on.

Hey Hanaan what 3d program do you use?

It is specifically the texture. It is running in the wrong
direction giving the look of the sides not the look it has in 3ds.
Ill take screenshots and send to show you what I mean. Otherwise
yeah I group the objects because MS seems to reorganize the parts
if I dont :D But I need some tips on the textures. Someone
mentioned its best to just do them in MS?

Oh and centering your pivots based on the grouped object?

I always group my model before I export. I think I ran into a
        few kinks when I didn't...

Thanks for the feedback. It is centered before I export it to
           milkshape
but then ms does its own thing. Ill have to be more
        conscious of
           that. Sorry about that!

Also the sides of the ladder (not the steps but the sides)
        texture
...they were not running the right direction so something else
           msut have
happened during the export. Im not sure how to correct it in
           Milkshape
though but Ill give it a good look tomorrow to learn how.
