There's dozens of those out there, maybe more. One popular one
I can think of is Spy Sweeper. I don't know if you still can,
but you used to be able to download a trial of it. It, like
the others, can find things others will miss but it too will
also miss what others can find.

I finally found a program that did work. I recall the following

It was Shareware. I was able to use it for a specified amount

the malware would come back. (I don't understand why that would
happen).
I had to run that program in Safe mode, and then I had to

Does anything that I wrote give a hint as to which program I
used? Does
anybody know of a Shareware antimalware program that works only
when System
Restore is turned off, and only in Safe mode?
I would definitely recommend that program to Larry.
