The following message will only be helpful if somebody can add the right information. I recall having a problem a year or two ago that was similar to Larry's. None of the usual programs removed the malware. I finally found a program that did work. I recall the following things about that program: It was Shareware. I was able to use it for a specified amount of time (but I only needed it once). I had to turn off System Restore, or else (according to the instructions) the malware would come back. (I don't understand why that would happen). I had to run that program in Safe mode, and then I had to restart the computer. Strange - I remember HOW I used the program, but I don't recall the name of the program. Does anything that I wrote give a hint as to which program I used? Does anybody know of a Shareware antimalware program that works only when System Restore is turned off, and only in Safe mode? I would definitely recommend that program to Larry.
