Yea... I can see the point you're making. But, again, if the person doesn't
know who's sending it,why would they read it? I guess it all depends on who
the recipient is as well. I've got friends that'll read email marked as
coming from Elvis Presley. But, myself, if I don't know the name or its
blank (or the subject doesn't indicate the source) then it gets deleted.

Of course, you can keep the email out and have it in the body.. such as when
I leave my signature below. Then, at least the person knows who its from...
but, again, that still means they have to read it first. I need to know who
it is before I read it. But... that's just me.

Your point is good but I send jokes to people who forward my email address
because they do not know how to cut and paste or forward without cutting
addresses, AOL People seem to have a particular problem with this for some
reason. So I have been writing from a throwaway address lately (hotmail
rather than my main address, maybe I will go to gmail for this since hotmail

is rather slow and balky sometimes).
Someone I did NOT know actually answered one of the jokes I had sent to
someone on my list. By accident --but that means my address is being sent
out to potentially thousands of people. I have requested several times that

they not forward my messages but cut and paste but I continue to get
hundreds of email addresses forwarded to me so I know they are not cutting
them out.

Since there are a few people who reply it is not practical to send an
address that is completely anonymous.
