is there a reason for wishing to spend $ to have AV scanner and anti-spyware
programs?

AVG offers both AntiVirus and Anti Spyware for FREE!!

other freeware spyware cleaners include Adaware 2007, Spybot Search & Destroy,
Spyware Blaster and SpyCatcher.

Some even like Windows Defender.

two actually :-)

First, I went to the WalMart site and could not find any Trend Micro for
sale - do you have a url? I also went to SoftwareOutlet site and it says
it's $22.99 - does anyone know if they are reputable and will I get a legit
program? On the trend micro site itself it costs the same for a CD and for
download which seems strange - $49.95.

second - right now I have only trend micro anti-spyware - do I need that
still in addition to their anti-virus when I switch from Panda &$%& - yup
still bugging me but am bound and determined to get all the time I paid for!
From the description on SoftwareOutlet it looks like Internet Security does
include the anti-virus/firewall plus the anti-spyware but want to double
check. I'm not sure when my Trend Micro anti-spyware runs out but I'm not
concerned about that as I'm going to guess it's about the same time my Panda
$%#&$% runs out in September.

Thanks - Dolores
