Hi Linda. That's not the case. I can do other things on the data using
functions. I just can't seem to get a wild card to work. /g

Glenda and Ray....I'm wondering if it's possible that this weird setup
Glenda is stuck with is what prevents the field from working? Is it
possible, since she says the Excel data is not accessible, that this IF
field just can't read the data to filter it in this way?

Maybe?=20
