Just tried it in the sample file I created and it worked here too....now
let's hope it works for Glenda (who probably can't test it til she gets to

I've got it!
My merge file has two fields, one called Name, which contains... well, a
name, and another called Address, which contains either a phone number
or an email address. The following suppresses all NON email addresses
from the merge:
{nextif{MERGEFIELD "Address"} <> "*@*"}{MERGEFIELD "Name"} ---
{MERGERFIELD "Address"}
Evidently, it is important that the '<>' has a space either side of it.
This worked for me.
