Mist is not currently in season.  See under "Keats."  Ours is a climate 
somewhat like Britain, but with more sunshine in the summer and a deal less 
humidity.  Don't tell people, or they'll all want to come.

As for law, hereabouts it's municipal, schmoo-nicipal as far as I'm concerned.  
We live in a close-in area governed by county regulations and county sheriffs.  
No roosters allowed, but chickens are fine.  Probably elephants too, but the 
zoo's only a few minutes away.

It should of course have been, "it takes the edge *off* his urge to help."
