Hi,
If the situation is so bad for you and
banning Barrett is the only way to resolve it, then I definitely support
you. And that's not
supposed to mean that I don't find the banning solution reasonable
myself, it just wouldn't be "bad
enough" for me, yet, but I can definitely see the reasons.
I don't know if it's the only way. I didn't send that mail lightly, it's
something I would have preferred
to avoid, but I'm not in a situation to make sane decisions myself, so I'm
turning to the collective
intelligence here to decide.
Why don't you mention that I actually contacted you and apologized about
the bad way I behaved with you?
This is not a complain or a critique. But I did that act as a way to try
noticing you that I realized my errors.
Not that I pretend things goes well after just this act, but I thought it
was clear that I tried to change with you.
I could link different discussions in gerrit and the commits ml that didn't
really go as bad as you say.
I actually asked sorry to you, kallisti5 and humdinger to be honest.
Because those are the persons that I think were in goodwill all the time
and I just misinterpreted. I didn't ask sorry to waddlesplash because I
don't think (and today there's the proof) he had any intention to fix
things with me. And you can see from latest months discussions, I really
tried to be polite with him.
