Hi,
It's unfortunate that I'm bringing this up...
For some time now working with Barrett has been quite difficult.
Problems include bypassing our code review tools, getting to personal insults
whenever someone tries to point possible problems in his code, and generally
not being receptive to discussions, leading to heated and unproductive
arguments.

And on the forums:

Not really, he's working on a bunch of refactoring that isn't affecting
functionality. All the long-standing bugs are still there, untouched...

Please, ignore this child. He is provoking me constantly, and putting shit on
my work. Thank you guys.

(yes, calling someone a child is an insult to one of our most active
developers).
It is not the first time this happens, we already gave a warning last time,
apparently with no effect.
The result of this is loss of productivity for me (time spent arguing with
Barrett makes me
ragequit Haiku for a few days and try to recover my motivation), and overall
unwelcoming
atmosphere on the IRC channel and forums.
At this point I think the outcome is negative, and the possibly good
contributions
(I don't even know, since reviewing them results in being personally attacked
and
insulted, I am now actively avoiding to look at Barrett's code as much as
possible)
do not compensate for the efforts everyone else has to make to keep up with the
behavior.
