No.

Don't read more into this than there really is.

GMPI converts your controllers to normalised floats.  No rescaling. 0.0 thru
1.0   ...  You are as free as you ever were.

There's no point in GMPI converting a controller to dB.  GMPI is just the
plumbing. It's the plugins job to interpret the meaning of that controller
same as before.

Like I keep saying, stop putting all these assumptions on this.

  Imaging the most simple, obvious way of converting a controller to a
normalised float.  That's what I'm talking about.

I can't think why i'm so hard to understand.  Why you keep talking about
dBs?.
