I don't use rechargeable myself either, but the difference Lue is probably referring to is not the size of the battery, but two other factors. 1. the book port battery level indicator does not work as accurately, and 2. they often don't last as long as other non-rechargeable batteries. The second one is more important in this regard because you have to unload and reload the batteries more often, thus causing more stress on the contacts. Lou Rechargeables are exactly the same size and shape as non-rechargeables. If they are freshly chazrged, there is little difference in current between them and non-rechargeables.
