Thanks
But I am connected directly to the cpu. It seems that my computer thinks the
book port is another device. when I plug it in it doesn't start the transfere
program but wants to play music off the book port by connecting to music
libraries.
Any ideas any one?
Thanks

  hi,
Do you have the unit directly connected to the computer, that is, not through
a hub or something similar.
My friend had the same type problem until the hub was taken out and the
connection was made right to the CPU.
Not sure why but the direct connection worked while the hub did not.

First of all what Operating system are you using? Windows 98 does not have a
USB driver. Also make sure your bookport is connected and operating properly.
