Yep, it sounds like a bad key.  Whether or not you can clean it out yourself
is another matter.  If you think you can do it give it a try although it
will almost certainly void the warrantee.  Of course, if it works, you won't
have to be without it for a couple of weeks while it's repaired.  Lou
