Good point Lou, I will see what the procedure is for sending it in first. Has anyone had their BP repaired? I am not sure it this BP is still covered. It is a year old and is worth fixing. Whether or not you can clean it out yourself is another matter. If you think you can do it give it a try although it will almost certainly void the warrantee. Of course, if it works, you won't have to be without it for a couple of weeks while it's repaired.
