I'll definitely be following the "What's for dinner" thread. I've got
to deal with that, and it's just me and David. I'm the primary cook,
so get to answer that question. I need to be better at menu planning
and finding variations ... meatloaf Monday, taco Tuesday (when I get
the homemade tortillas down.), etc.
I also like to bake bread. I haven't bought a loaf at the store since
I started baking bread three years ago. I mostly just make the KAF
Honey Oat Pain de Mie, and sometimes a sweet bread.

I prefer a gas cooktop over an electric one. You hang around some odd blind
people. The gas burner gives you greater control and, when a recipe says
turn down to low, the flame immediately goes to low. If you do that with an
electric burner, you have residual heat from the coils to deal with for a
