Hi, Lea. The problem isn't the book's age. It's that the were submitted a long time ago, and they haven't been processed. This matters both because the submitter hasn't gotten his/her book approved and because someone may be waiting to read the book. It's a housekeeping thing too because we try to keep things moving along smoothly. Our volunteers do a great job of processing thousands of books each year, and we just try to be sure nothing gets left out in the cold. (smile) Older books are welcome on Bookshare, and no book will be deleted unless it is incomplete or unreadable.

Hi folks,

I have to ask this question, because I'm not sure I understand....
What is the issue with having old books on step 1? Why is this a problem? Does Bookshare only have limited disk space?
