Paula and all:
The problem I am having is that even with a book that has page numbers there may not be a page break. This is possibly because, although I know nothing about formatting and all the programs, they are a TXT file? Anyway, Word seems to say "page break" but not in the right places and if there is a number and I were to insert page breaks I could end up with 2 breaks. The only way I have found to get around this is to transfer my file to the Braillenote since it has the page break symbol. I like doing the files on the BN, but if I have the "done file" on my computer and want to check for page breaks it is impossible. I think the only way to solve this is to have Bookshare make all the files RTF. We still would have to search for page breaks by some means, maybe a techy can help with that, but at least the TXT files would not lose their page breaks put in by the scanner! I hope this has made sense, early and still not awake.
