Cindy, thanks for looking up the song. I'd never heard it and didn't see the explanation that it was a line from a song before posting about it. I get the name GenePoole and see the irony in it. It was the line of the song posted with a smirk that I couldn't understand. It shocked me at first because it seemed so out of place. Though this isn't exactly relevant, I'm not totally sure of what a smirk is supposed to indicate when someone does it. In my mind it is a sort of ssarcastic and gloating expression, something negative or with an unkind aspect. That got me wondering about facial expressions in general and made me realize how many of them aren't real in my imagination because I've never seen them. My only understanding of some expressions is from books, especially a smirk, grimmace, scowl, and a crooked smile. Those expressions all seem somewhat unpleasant to me, but I can't rank them in severity or truly understand their impact. Ok, enough rambling for tonight. (smile)

My understanding is that genepool (get the name?) was inspired to write his comment by Lissi's comment, not Elizabeth's--Lissi's is like a song he remembers--which I vaguely seem to remember, too.
