We counted 40 species this weekend.  I was off work and counting all day 
Friday, but the weekending weather was such a limiter, that we ended with three 
less species for the whole weekend, than we did just on Thanksgiving day!   
There’s nothing special in this list.  
I’ve been watching for Horned Larks, Longspurs, Rusty & Brewer’s Blackbirds, 
but none have made an appearance this autumn.
I watched the Bluebird pair stir then leave their Robin’s nest roost, about 20 
minutes before this morning’s sunrise.  They had been in there for nearly 14 ½ 
hours!  The female was settled back in the same nest, late this afternoon.
