This was the third week in a row that we've counted 32 or 33 species.  The
only thing really extraordinary this weekend was the endless streams of
mixed blackbird flocks, winging toward the south-west in the morning, then
back to the north-east in the afternoons.  They seem to be increasing in
size in the last week or so.
