[birdky] Schochoh, Logan Co., weekend list

We counted 39 species this weekend, which is a fairly good count for July.
It has been nearly a month since I submitted a list and those weekend counts
were in the low-mid thirties, which is typical of the summer birding
doldrums here.  The only really unusual bird in this list is the Baltimore
Oriole, which I spotted as it sat preening on top of a walnut tree.  We're
aware that they're nearby in the spring when very vocal, but we rarely count
them in the summer.  Some notable misses were House Sparrow, Tree Swallow
(which have been completely absent for several weeks) and Brown Thrasher.
Our E. Bluebirds are feeding three babies from a second brood, after
fledging five from the same box in June.
