Hmmm, an average low of 40F in June.  Last Saturday was a pretty average
day climatically, and the low in that meadow was 25F.  Sure shows what you
have been saying about the effect of local terrain.  I checked the low that
night on Anderson Mesa, which was 50 degrees.  When Jenn and I hiked out to
the southwest end of the meadow to see Venus rise, it even seemed to be be
10 degrees warmer over there.
