Hi folks. It was 15.5 degrees and overcast with a slight breeze for my hike this morning. The following birds were heard: Red-bellied Woodpecker Downy Woodpecker Hairy Woodpecker Pileated Woodpecker Blue Jay American Crow Black-capped Chickadee White-breasted Nuthatch Eastern Bluebird (not commonly found this time of year) Northern Cardinal Purple Finch American Goldfinch The only one heard singing this morning was the White-breasted Nuthatch, with the slower of his two songs.
