Hi folks. Wednesday 12/23/09 report. The temperature was in the high 20s, the sky was again overcast this morning and there was a strong wind heard in the hills above me. The following birds were heard: Mourning Dove Red-bellied Woodpecker Downy Woodpecker Hairy Woodpecker Pileated Woodpecker Blue Jay American Crow Black-capped Chickadee Tufted Titmouse White-breasted Nuthatch Eastern Bluebird Northern Cardinal Purple Finch American Goldfinch No singing was heard at all today but this time there were at least 3 Eastern Bluebirds that were following the usual flight pattern overhead.
