Well, everything appears to be back to normal! After two weeks of
disheartening birding, this morning's Huntley Meadows Monday Morning birdwalk
was alive with 45 species, 18 birders, and beautiful weather. The Monday
holiday probably accounts for the large number of birders, and the recent
weather front may account for the birds. Several highlights this morning
included Yellow Chats, American Kestrel, juvenile Blue Grosbeaks in mid molt,
and three Empidonax flycatchers.
