The 9 birders on this morning's Huntley Meadows walk celebrated the 98th anniversary of the birth of Roger Tory Peterson by spotting 44 species. The highlight was what seems to be the first sighting at Huntley of an Upland Sandpiper. We counted 211 Laughing Gulls and spotted an American Redstart.
