I stopped by Dutch Gap yesterday to catch the late afternoon sun. It
was a very busy place with the most waterfowl activity I have seen in a
while. All of the ice was gone, so everything was enjoying the
water...for now....
Sights included:
mute swan
canada goose
mallards
northern pintail
northern shoveler
ring necked duck
american coot
gadwall
american widgeon

Also, in front of the visitor center, they had bull dozed all of the
trees and were clearing the area. I am not sure why...anybody know?
