I birded near Dutch Gap today. The highlight was stunning looks at 2 Barred
Owls. They still had some fuzz on their heads; I'm assuming they are this
year's chicks. I tallied 44 species at Dutch Gap, and I tallied 18 more
(species missed at Dutch Gap) on the drive home and from my yard (my back
yard borders a lake). Here's the list:
