Radnor Lake State Natural Area Davidson Co. Nashville, TN Friday Sept 9, 2005 7-9 am Phillip Casteel and I birded Radnor Lake this morning from the West Parking Lot to Long Bridge and back. The best mixed flock was just before Long Bridge although another small group of migrants was near the deck. We had 9 species of warblers for the morning. Birds of particular interest included Pied billed Grebe 1 Blue winged Teal 36 Yellow billed Cuckoo 1 E. Screech Owl 1 heard Chimney Swift 40+ Swainson's Thrush 2 Wood Thrush 1 Brown Thrasher 3 Baltimore Oriole 1 WARBLERS Blue-winged 1 Golden-winged 1f Tennessee 2 Magnolia 4 Black-and-White 3 Ovenbird 1 Common Yellowthroat 1m Wilson's 1f Canada 1m -- Frank Fekel Tennessee State University Center of Excellence in Information Systems 3500 John A.
