Radnor Lake State Natural Area

cloudy, light rain
Returning from a family visit to NJ, where I got great views of
2 CURLEW SANDPIPERs, I have visited Radnor Lake the past 3 mornings,
hoping for a late warbler or two. The best I could do today was a
bedraggled YELLOW-RUMPED WARBLER, a sighting that is past the late
date for the species given in the 4th edition of the "Birds of the
Nashville Area." I had NO BALD EAGLE sightings, but yesterday and
today I did see an OSPREY perched and flying around the lake.
